Lumos (hereinafter referred to as "the App," "we," or "our") is a tool
dedicated to helping family partners, especially women, visualize,
fairly distribute, and collaboratively manage household
responsibilities. We deeply understand the privacy of family matters and
are committed to protecting your and your family's information to the
highest standards. This Privacy Policy aims to transparently explain how
we collect, use, store, and protect your information, as well as the
rights you have.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
Account and Family Information

When you use quick login (e.g., Apple ID), we collect and store your
unique identifier, nickname, and avatar (provided by the login
service).

The family name and customized member nicknames/relationships (e.g.,
"Dad," "Mom") you provide when creating a family space.

Personal or family information you actively fill in (non-mandatory),
such as city or time zone (used for localized reminders).
Family Collaboration Content

Household Data: Task categories (e.g., childcare, cleaning),
execution stages (plan/execute/follow-up/emotional), time spent, and
responsible persons you record through the "Workload Lumos" feature.

Family Charter & Rules: Division principles, quality
assurance standards, leave, and substitute mechanisms established by
your family.

Task & Collaboration Data: Task details, deadlines,
recurring settings, meeting minutes, and action items created in the
"Collaborate" module.

Emotional Data: Personal mood check-ins, trends, and notes
recorded via the "Mood Thermometer."

Community Content: Posts, comments, likes, and favorites you
publish in the "Community" module (anonymous posting is an option).
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device and Log Information
To ensure stable operation of the App, we collect device model,
operating system version, app version, network status, and error logs.
This information is anonymized and used for troubleshooting and
performance optimization.
Usage Data
We collect aggregated data such as feature usage frequency (e.g., which
module is used most) and operation flows (e.g., average steps to create
a task) to improve user experience. This data is not directly linked to
your identity.
Notification Interaction Data
To ensure effective delivery of notifications, we track the delivery
status (whether successfully delivered to the device), but we do not
track whether you click on them.
2.3 Requested Permissions and Their Use
Notification Permission
Used to send you task reminders, meeting notifications, recurring
schedule alerts, and care check-in reminders.
Calendar Permission (Optional)
If authorized, tasks and meetings can be written to your device's system
calendar, utilizing its reminder functionality. We do not read,
modify, or delete other events in your calendar.
Contacts Permission (Optional)
If authorized, when inviting family members, we can locally match and
display contact names from your address book for easier selection. We
do not upload or store your complete contact list. Invitation
information (e.g., email or phone number) will be used solely for
sending invitations.
3. How and Why We Use Your Information
We use your information only for the following purposes:

family division dashboards, charts, and trend analysis for you.

Managing to-do items and sending reminders based on the task rules and
recurring schedules you set.

synchronization when you enable the backup feature.

4. Information Storage, Sharing, and Disclosure
4.1 Storage Location and Security

Local Storage: All your data is primarily stored locally on
your device, ensuring privacy and offline availability.

Cloud Backup (Optional): When you log into an account and
enable backup, your data is securely uploaded to our cloud servers

end-to-end encryption to enable cross-device recovery. The encryption
key is controlled by your device; we cannot decrypt the content of
your data.

Data Security: We employ industry-standard security measures

disclosure.
4.2 Data Sharing Principles

Strictly Limited Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or
trade your personal or family data to third parties for advertising or
marketing purposes.

Visible Only to Family Members: All household data, tasks,
charters, and emotional records you create within the App are, by
default, visible only to the family members you have invited and who
have joined. Anonymous posts in the Community section are visible to
other users.

Service Providers: We only share the minimal information
necessary to enable service functionality with strictly bound
third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting services, error
analytics tools). These providers are not permitted to use your data
for any other purpose.

Legal Requirements: We will only disclose your information when
legally compelled to do so.
5. Your Rights and Controls
You have full control over your information:

Access and Correction: You can view and edit most of the
information you provide within the App at any time.

Delete Data:

Partial Deletion: You can delete individual tasks, records,
or posts within modules like "Collaborate" or "Home."

Complete Deletion: In "My" > "Privacy & Security"
> "Clear All Data," you can permanently delete data stored
locally on the device. To delete cloud backups, please contact us.

Export Data: You can export your family data (in formats like
JSON or CSV) for archiving in "My" > "Privacy & Security."

Manage Permissions: You can turn off Lumos's notification,
calendar, or contacts permissions anytime in your device's system
settings. Turning off permissions only affects related features.

Choose Anonymity: When posting in the Community, you can choose
"Post Anonymously"; your identity will not be associated with other
users.
6. Guest Mode
You can use most features without logging in via "Guest Mode." In this
mode, all data is stored only locally on your device, and features like
cloud backup, cross-device sync, and family member invitations are
unavailable. You can upgrade to a logged-in account at any time to
enable these features.
7. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed at children under the age of 13. Although
the App may be used to manage household tasks involving children, we do
not directly collect personal information from children. We encourage
parents to guide their children regarding privacy settings for family
digital tools.
8. Disclaimer (Important)
This App does not provide professional psychotherapy, psychological
counseling, or medical advice.
Features like the "Mood Thermometer," care reminders, and related
content in the community are designed as
educational and assistive tools to promote mutual understanding
and self-awareness among family members. If you or your family members
are experiencing persistent emotional distress, psychological stress, or
any health issues, you must seek help from qualified doctors,
psychotherapists, or other professional healthcare providers.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy based on legal requirements or business
development. Updates will be posted within the App, and the "Last
Updated" date will be revised. For significant changes, we will notify
you via in-app notification.
